Among other things we´ve been swimming (youngest son got to swim both days), at the movies (Alvin and the chipmunks 3) and skating:
It´s not that often we get a chance to skate at the rink in our neighbourhood, this winter has been so mild that the ice disappears too fast. Even though the chances to skate comes rarely, they remember really well. I guess it´s like riding a bike.

Ni ser ut att haft en riktig lyckad helg. Själv har jag jobbat halva och varit ledig halva. Vi har hunnit med både middag ute, bio (Sherlock, den var bra) och hälsat på vänner. Det har varit en riktigt bra helg med andra ord!

We too had a terrific weekend Tina. Monday has not begun so well...my little one forgot to close the freezer door and now I have Ice men to attack...:D

Gu det var verkligen inte igår jag åkte skridskor! Gjorde ett tappert försök för c:a 3 år sedan då vi var i Sverige. Min då 3 åriga dotter fick prova för första gången och tyckte det var spännande. Hon pratar fortfarande om det och vill prova igen.
Min helg ägnades åt att fixa i och runt i huset. Sydde gardiner och hängde upp krokar!

Skridskor... det var längesedan. Förut åkte jag ganska bra, nu är jag mest rädd för att ramla och slå ändan i isen! Tror jag håller mig på fast och sandad mark :)

What fun!! I love ice skating, used to compete as a child! I didn't get to skate this weekend, but I watched it on tv!
Your rink looks like a good one! That ice is nice and even, at least :) My last skating adventure was a week and a half ago (after a 15 year hiatus), and my knee is still recovering...I'm thinking I might buy some x-country skis instead ('course, it's been about 35 years since I tried THAT last...good idea, do you think!? ;D)

I'm a little bit a "Angsthase" - afraid rabbit (???) - there is water around the house, but I never had the guts to put my feet on the ice...
Our weekend was very busy. We've got old bookshelves from friends and were rooming around...

Sounds like you had a terrific time with your boys! We went into the country. My husband wanted to check out the cabin facilities for the winter camp he has planned for his cub scout group. It was snowing and the landscape was magical.
Wonderful photos and I am so glad that you had a great weekend. We haven't been sledding or skating this year either due to the crazy weather, we get snow and then it melts in two days.

Sounds like a fun filled weekend! My grandson plays hockey and skates too. I remember how hard it was at first for him but he took to it pretty quickly.
