Cherry blossoms and willow buds

It was a wonderful springlike day yesterday and I took a little lunch walk as I like to do. At the market place they sold easter decorated branches with feathers on, though that seemed a little early to me.

But they also sold these - and they were just right:

Cherry blossom branches and willow buds - candy for my eyes!

I felt so happy bringing these beauties home, they looked great together. With these I can feel spring coming closer in a heartbeat.

Saga was kind of mesmerized by their beauty too - or maybe she had plans of eating them. Could be both options there to tell the truth.

I hope you´ll have a great day - go out and buy some flowers!

Oh we don´t have that pink beauty here. This reminds me of my mother who always took branches from the garden and put in water so they would be green and fresh before Easter. I had forgotten about it - thank you :) Is it too early to do it today?

Our cherry trees are almost done blooming here in Charlotte, NC. But they were gorgeous while we had them. I have always loved pussy willows and when we move into the house I'm going to plant some! I'm glad you got to have a little Spring in you house even if it is from the Market!! ENJOY!

Ahhhh, I need to find some of those! My daughter will flip for the tiny cherry blossoms, she loves "sakura" so much. Thank you for sharing the cuties you found. Although I think you're right, they may soon be cat food, hehe.

I do feel spring coming, yipee! *happy dance*

Very pretty. I just noticed this morning that the buds on my flowering pear tree opened up. Think it's time to get a picture of them.

So pretty!!!! I would love to buy flowers. But seriously, my cat DOES eat them. Then gets sick. It's so sad. Hope yours survive!

The willow buds and cherry blossom branches are a-plenty here during Chinese New Year.

Your kitty cat's fur looks so soft! She looks so cute looking up at the willow buds. :)

Ja det är så underbart med körsbärsblom, de ser nästan overkliga ut på något sätt.

Hoppas du har en fin söndag.
